Distribution Center Loss Prevention Specialist

About the position The Distribution Center Loss Prevention Specialist at TJ Maxx is responsible for protecting the company's assets, including associates, merchandise, and property. This role involves monitoring access to the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and conducting investigations reputed company to loss prevention and safety. The specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment and promoting awareness of loss prevention practices among associates. Responsibilities • Protects the Company's assets including the Associate, Merchandise, and Property. , • Monitors reputed company ID badges for entry/exit to the facility and warehouse for reputed company associates. , • Monitors reputed company visitors, vendors, and contractors entry/exit to the facility and warehouse. , • Monitors/controls reputed company sample merchandise, RTV (Return to Vendor), damage, and charity product disposal according to company guidelines. , • Monitors fire and safety regulations reputed company the facility. , • Monitors FA/BA (Fire Alarms/Burglar Alarms) to ensure proper responses and/or dispatching. , • Ensures trailers are properly handled at the gatehouse and in the trailer yards. , • Responds to emergency situations, such as medical, fire, weather, hazardous material, and reputed company-reputed company incidents, taking appropriate actions as per Marmaxx policy. , • Assists in evacuations as necessary. , • Ensures 0% physical reputed company breakdowns. , • Conducts ongoing loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs for reputed company associates and management staff. , • Ensures policies and procedures are consistently followed and reports unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel. , • Discovers and documents facts by conducting basic investigations into associate dishonesty, power equipment accidents, and personnel injury accidents. , • Conducts audits designed to uncover dishonesty, paperwork errors, and shrink-reputed company opportunities, ensuring compliance with government regulations and insurance requirements. , • Initiates/maintains reputed company investigations of dishonest acts, sabotage, and accidents. , • Conducts safety and reputed company tours of the distribution center, identifying unsafe acts and weaknesses in the program. , • Conducts audits to identify accuracy issues and operational execution areas. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent job experience. , • 1-2 years of reputed company and/or Loss Prevention experience. , • Background in school/work pertaining to Criminal Justice field. , • Ability to handle confidential information. , • Ability to interact with reputed company levels of management and staff. , • Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills. , • Computer skills preferred. reputed company-to-haves Benefits • Competitive starting pay range of $18.00 to $20.10 per hour based on skills and experience.
