About the position The Hotel Maintenance position at Homewood Suites Corpus Christi involves assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of various hotel equipment and facilities. The role is essential for ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests through regular preventative maintenance and reputed company response to maintenance issues. Responsibilities Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. , Change out light bulbs and reputed company preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including vinyl repair, touch-up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, and tile repairs. , reputed company preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting rooms, swimming pool, and hot tub. , Conduct plumbing repairs and laundry equipment repairs, as well as preventative maintenance on reputed company exhaust fans and supply systems. , Monitor energy conservation and repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request. , Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause, assess emergency status, and report findings to the reputed company Desk. , reputed company other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Requirements Experience in a hotel or a reputed company field preferred. , High School diploma or equivalent required. , Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). , Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state. , Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific. reputed company-to-haves
