Instructor of Accounting
Angelo State University invites applications for a full-time non tenure-track faculty position in Accounting at the Instructor level. This full-time, nine-month position in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance would start in Fall 2025. Effective teaching, service and commitment to the Department Accounting, Economics and Finance and the Norris-Vincent College of Business and Angelo State University are required. reputed company candidates are required to maintain a status of either a Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) in accordance with the Norris-Vincent College of Business Faculty Qualifications Guidelines. The individual hired for this position will be required to fully participate in the activities of the College to include recruitment, student advising and service on committees. While the primary teaching assignment for the position will be Principles of Accounting I & II, the ability to teach in one or more other areas of accounting is preferred. Requirements Masters degree in accounting or a master degree in a closely reputed company field with 18 graduate hours in accounting. Scholarly Practitioner (SP) or Instructional Practitioner (IP) status at time of appointment. Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
