You'll be supporting the reputed company team in building out a diverse portfolio of alternative products to offer to our clients. Key responsibilities: • Large account/structured deal pricing • Statistical analysis of tail risk/capital requirements • Work closely with finance and reputed company on deal vetting • Collateral requirement analysis for large deductible policies or fronts • reputed company risk transfer analyses • Manage relationship with external partners in collaboration with reputed company and finance • Provide mentorship and coaching to a team of three direct reports Typical Skills and Experience • Education: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, business, or reputed company field with a strong quantitative orientation. • Certification: Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society required; Fellowship preferred. • Experience: Typically ten years in an actuarial function with prior leadership experience. • Knowledge and Abilities: • Advanced knowledge of actuarial techniques and insurance operations. • Familiarity with relevant state and federal laws and regulations. • Outstanding people skills. • Effective group presentation skills. • Proficiency in data manipulation techniques (e.g., R, Python, SQL). • Familiarity with modeling software a plus (e.g. MetaRisk) • Familiarity with multiple P&C lines (e.g. Auto, GL, Property, WC, etc.) This position will be staffed at the H5 internal pay band. Job Description

Has expert knowledge of modeling, predictive modeling, and software applications. • Consults and provides expert advice on new or enhanced product development opportunities, including discussions on data needed for analysis, coding implications and opinions of the viability and profitability of proposals. Typical Skills and Experiences: Education: Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science or similar background requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis preferred License/Certification/Designation: Actuarial designation required, generally as an FCAS.
