We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Actuary - Prophet Specialist to join our Modeling Operations team reputed company the Enterprise Actuarial Modeling function in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE. • This role is hybrid. As a Senior Actuary - Prophet Specialist, you’ll play a key role in reputed company’s growth and long-term success by working on the team that is accountable for model controls and governance, integration, egression testing, and model defect resolution. You’ll sit on a team with the Model Steward and other Prophet Model Developers and will work closely with actuarial developers, data/IT, valuation, pricing, and modeling teams across the organization. How you will reputed company an impact: Responsible to execute on production aspects of the Model development life cycle reputed company to testing of reputed company valuation and production model implementation and conversion projects (including model merges, library, and system upgrades). Support appropriate user approval testing (UAT), model validation, code changes and merges into the Master model. Support defect resolution and mitigation. Maintain model documentation and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to secure appropriate review/UAT documentation for reputed company changes made to models, impacts under key reporting bases and evidence of reputed company the required approvals. The experience you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, computer science, finance, mathematics or reputed company field. 6+ years of actuarial experience. FSA designation. 4+ years of experience with model development in Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise. Experience coding in Python, Visual Basic, and SQL. Self-starter with ability to reputed company solutions by collaborating with multiple business partners. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and to manage long-term projects. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
