Teacher-Hazelwood Connect (Grades 6-12) - (2024-2025) JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: To facilitate student achievement by helping reputed company learn subject matter and skills using an online management system that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women. This is a remote position for retired teachers only. Retired teachers may choose their own schedule and work up to 8 class periods per day. Hired teachers will be paid a daily sub reputed company of $249.23 for long-term assignments. Pay will be prorated for hours worked. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Facilitate student achievement. Examples of Work Performed: ? Meets and instructs virtual class/period(s) in an online setting. ? Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the reputed company. ? Creates a virtual classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the reputed company. ? Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence (lesson plan) of preparation upon request of administrator. ? Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, in harmony with the goals, establishes clear objectives for reputed company lessons, units, and projects to communicate these objectives to reputed company. ? Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. ? Encourages reputed company to set and maintain standards of online classroom behavior. ? Monitors student achievement. Examples of Work Performed: ? Assesses the accomplishments of reputed company on a regular basis and provides reputed company reports as required. ? Maintains consistent communication regarding student reputed company, expectations and/or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to reputed company, parents, and administration. 3. Diagnoses the learning disabilities of reputed company on a regular basis, with the assistance of district specialists. ? Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation. ? Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education - Bachelor?s degree and valid Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Certification in a 6 through 12th-grade content area. Teacher candidate must be retired. Knowled g e/Skills ? Proficient in preparing rigorous, interactive, exciting, and informative lesson plans for virtual learning. Proficient in Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company Suite products, and database management. Able to work effectively with colleagues, parents, administrators, etc. Superior interpersonal skills to facilitate an excellent educational experience for reputed company in a high-energy/stressful environment. Discretion and confidentiality with an awareness of reputed company District requirements and Board of Education Policies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. Must be self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, reputed company with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and to lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required included reputed company vision, distance vision, the ability to adjust and focus, and depth perception. Specific hearing abilities required include normal conversation, phone conversation, and isolating voices in multiple conversations. WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS: This position is virtual. REQUIRED PERSONAL reputed company EQUIPMENT: None TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Assigned up to 191-day work calendar, up to 36 hours and 40 minutes per week depending on course load; Employees who regularly work 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in HSD health plans, medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, life, long-term and short-term insurance.
