Company : Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: The Administrative Director of Cancer Clinical Research is responsible for ensuring that the reputed company has an appropriate and well managed infrastructure for offering clinical research programs to its patients and practicing physicians. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Directly oversees clinical research operations of the cancer institute and develops the curriculum and training for reputed company clinical research staff including research nurses, clinical research coordinators, as well as supporting data and regulatory staff. (30%) • Works with AHN's oncology leadership and physicians to identify and attract research studies that are well suited to and meet the needs of the patients that the organization serves and supports. (20%) • Motivates research staff to educate patients about available research studies and offer access to studies while ensuring compliance with reputed company AHN policies and state and federal regulations. (15%) • Manages the clinical research staff and programs of the cancer institute in compliance with reputed company regulatory requirements and in line with the best interests of AHN patients.
