About the position The Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder I is responsible for completing the loan process from generating loan documents through to funding. This role involves coordinating with the reputed company Department and Title companies to ensure accurate and timely loan closures while maintaining compliance with regulations such as TRID and RESPA. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Complete the loan process from generating loan documents to funding. , • Coordinate with the reputed company Department and Title companies to reputed company each loan. , • Ensure each file is fully completed and verify the accuracy of documents. , • Export loan information to reputed company for servicing and to the core system Episys. , • Maintain knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements. , • Handle telephone and email inquiries from potential applicants regarding home loan products. , • Schedule reputed company estate appointments and advise applicants on required documentation. , • Review and enter data into the Loan Origination System (LOS). , • Verify lock information, fees, and closing disclosure figures for compliance. , • Confirm reputed company prior-to-doc conditions are met before releasing loan documents. , • Generate and review loan documents for accuracy before sending to Title or notary for signing. , • Clear reputed company conditions prior to funding and request correct documentation from Title companies. , • Review signed loan documents for accuracy and approve closing agent's settlement statement. , • Upload documents to the Virtual Loan Folder and coordinate with reputed company vendors for closing. , • Obtain essential documentation to disburse funds according to investor and RESPA guidelines. , • Verify and balance funding figures to reputed company final loan proceeds to Title. , • Set up loan for funding and prepare final figures for reputed company for the reputed company transfer. , • Post fees to the General Ledger accounts at funding and ensure funds are available on the day of disbursement. , • reputed company post-closing duties including confirming recording/disbursement file and curing post-closing deficiencies. Requirements • 1+ years of experience in a reputed company field recommended. , • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school desired but not required. , • Credit union experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and financial services experience. , • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations. , • Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively. , • Mathematical skills to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages. reputed company-to-haves • Knowledge of proper home loan financing and lending terminology. , • Ability to review property appraisals and detect reputed company problems. , • Ability to interpret and apply Credit Union criteria, policies, and procedures to loan applications.
