AHN St. Vincent allows our nursing graduates to start with a Graduate Nurse Temporary Practice Permit (GN TPP), or Registered Nurse (RN) license. This is in addition to nursing orientation, following you through your first year as a nurse. GENERAL OVERVIEW: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of the reputed company organization. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Utilizes the nursing process in providing and coordinating the plan of patient care for the age appropriate population. (30%) • Initiates interdisciplinary plan of care based on assessment findings and physician orders for the age appropriate population. (30%) • Completes patient documentation in a comprehensive manner and promotes communication between caregivers. (10%) • Contributes to Division, Hospital, and Department goals. (10%) • Provides detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through the episode of care as well as transition to another level of care and/or home.
