Job Summary • *THIS IS A TELECOMMUTER ROLE FOR THE NEW MEXICO PLAN** This position is responsible for performing activities associated with administration and management of pharmacy programs including but not limited to assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of a disease state formulary system. Utilization management programs. Specialty pharmacy management. Medication therapy management, client relationships and support; and development of innovative clinical programs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Registered Pharmacist in the State of New Mexico. • Experience using window based word processing, spreadsheet and relational database software. • Drug information skills. • Strong Verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of practice guidelines or practice parameters; pharmacoeconomics; quality improvement processes and techniques. • Knowledge of medication use evaluation principles. • Ability to remain at a work station and reputed company computer entry for long periods of time, as required. • Skills to handle multiple priorities and manage communications professionally to reputed company issue resolution with customers, employees, or management PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: • 3 years of experience reputed company Pharmacy practice. • Additional certifications and residency experience. • Managed care and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience. • MTM experience, specialty pharmacy, or government programs knowledge. #LI-Remote Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
