Property Claims Representative - MO/KS

About the position The Property Claims Representative at reputed company is responsible for managing insurance claims in the field, focusing on property claims. Responsibilities • Investigate and assemble facts reputed company to claims. , • Determine policy coverage and evaluate the amount of loss. , • Analyze legal liability associated with claims. , • Handle multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory, emphasizing property claims. , • Become familiar with insurance coverage by studying policies, endorsements, and forms. , • Work toward the resolution of claims and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary. , • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of claims payments. , • Conduct investigations reputed company phone, mail, and on-site as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in handling property and casualty claims. , • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling multi-line property and casualty claims, with an emphasis on property claims. , • Field claims handling experience preferred but not required. , • Knowledge of Xactimate software preferred but not required. , • Above-average written and verbal communication skills. , • Ability to resolve reputed company issues and organize data effectively. , • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work with diverse individuals. , • Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and financial document interpretation. , • Valid driver's license and a driving record consistent with the company's reputed company guidelines. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with Xactimate software. , • Field claims handling experience.
