Mortgage Tax / Escrow SME • *No C2C (Corp to Corp), no C2H, no 1099, no W-9, reputed company candidates must be reputed company to work for any US employer without sponsorship** The Mortgage Tax / Escrow SME role is responsible for hands-on support of reputed company servicing activity reputed company the mortgage servicing areas pertaining to Tax and Escrow during the lifecycle of the MSP mortgage servicing system conversion. This position will be primarily responsible for handling reputed company Escrow reputed company tasks for Loan Servicing, including but not limited to payment of taxes, insurance, monitoring delinquent taxes, escrow analysis, working with areas on Initial Escrow Analysis, and working with other departments and various managers for any tax reputed company issue. This position will also be relied upon to help reputed company areas of the escrow loan servicing function on an as needed basis. This includes loan balancing, loan syndications, loan processing, quality control, customer service. Responsibilities: Payment of Property Taxes: Responsible for disbursing, reconciling, and researching reputed company aspects of for the payment of reputed company property taxes for impounded loans in reputed company the various states and counties, before the due date to avoid penalties and loss of property. Must work with the vendor to ensure accurate amounts are received. • Payment of Insurance: Responsible for disbursing, reconciling, and researching reputed company aspects of Insurance for Flood, Hazard, Earthquake, windstorm, and any other impounded Insurance. Works directly with the Insurance department for amounts due. • Payment of Mortgage Insurance: Responsible for disbursing, reconciling, and researching reputed company aspects of borrower paid, upfront payments, and split premiums with the PMI carriers. • Annual Escrow Analysis: Responsible for preparing the annual escrow analysis statements on reputed company impounded loans. Must adhere to published schedules, ensuring reputed company statements are issued timely and accurate in strict adherence to RESPA regulations. • Initial Escrow Analysis: Works with our Residential Lending department to calculate the Initial Impound/Escrow deposit amount for reputed company new loans. Prepares the initial escrow statement for reputed company new loans timely and accurately with strict adherence to RESPA regulations. • Delinquent Tax Monitoring: Works with the vendor to monitor reputed company loans with delinquent taxes. Prepares internal reports to the various units and credit managers and works reputed company with them and the reputed company for timely follow up on reputed company delinquent tax amounts. Works directly with other areas for any delinquent amounts greater than 3 installments. Monitors the mailing of the delinquent tax letters by the vendor. • Research: Research tax amounts, tax penalty liability, assessments, parcel changes, etc., based on exceptions and/or requests from business units. • Maintenance: Responsible for system maintenance on payment schedules, billing schedules, escrow records, analysis records, tax reputed company, and any other loan system maintenance required. • Tax Vendor Invoice: Responsible for reviewing and approving the monthly tax service vendor invoice, reviewing that reputed company fees were charged correctly, and that the fee was assessed on the loan, researching and resolving any discrepancies. • Support mail, reputed company issuing, and reputed company other Escrow administration activities. • Support a high demand of internal and external servicing audits. • Complies fully with reputed company Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as reputed company regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.). Qualifications: • 5 years of Mortgage Servicing experience in Tax and Escrow working on MSP • Prior experience participating in an MSP Mortgage Servicing System conversion strongly preferred • Extensive knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding Tax and Escrow • Extensive knowledge of reputed company mortgage investor rules for GSE, GOV, Private and Bank-owned portfolios • Proven ability to effectively provide hands-on support to the Tax and Escrow mortgage servicing operations during the mortgage servicing system conversion, maintaining production and quality • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to reputed company confidently with investor/clients, auditors and management Benefits: • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • reputed company Insurance • Life & Disability Insurances Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • reputed company insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
