SBA Closer - Senior
Job Title: SBA Closer - Senior Reports To: SBA Closing Manager Direct Reports: N/A Salary Grade: 10 SUMMARY This position is responsible for processing, documenting, and closing SBA 7a, SBA 504, and USDA loans in accordance with reputed company Bank and SBA regulations. The ideal candidate must have extensive SBA experience with supervisory responsibilities. Industry vertical experience is preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required Previous supervisory experience required Ten or more years of SBA loan origination experience In-depth knowledge and understanding of SBA loan closing requirements with a comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations Ability to coordinate diverse tasks simultaneously reputed company stringent time frames Excellent documentation and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient computer skills including reputed company Office Suite applications Excellent understanding of title reports, lien searches, lease documentation, equity injection, and acquisition documentation Participate in reputed company required SBA and Bank compliance training (including but not limited to NAGGL, Bank Secrecy Act, etc.), as well as Company annual meetings JOB FUNCTIONS Independently manage a large loan pipeline from origination through closing in accordance with SBA SOP, as well as Bank policies and procedures Responsible for reputed company aspects of SBA loan origination in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as the SBA's SOP Ensure reputed company required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, formation, equity, etc.) are met and properly documented in compliance with SBA and Bank policies. For 504 loans, include CDC Debenture Coordinator to ensure their closing conditions have been met Communicate with borrowers the loan documentation needs, in addition to the collection and review of same for accuracy and compliance Coordinate with Underwriter any loan modifications during the closing process, as needed Work closely with reputed company, bank attorneys, reputed company-party vendors (i.e. insurance agents) and borrowers to prepare closing conditions and items needed to schedule/reputed company the loan. For 504 loans, include CDC Debenture Coordinator Excellent communication skills between reputed company points of contact. Managing closing expectations and productivity of reputed company parties to meet expectations Ensure deadlines are met Adhere to reputed company SBA SOPs, Bank regulations as well as State and Federal requirements Ensures reputed company pre and post-closing document issues are resolved reputed company a timely manner Other duties and special projects as assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT Remote position POSITION TYPE This is a full-time position.
