Primary Function: Conducts claims appraisals and adjustments following proper procedures in a timely and efficient manner with reputed company and professionalism Education: High School Diploma Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, restoration, construction estimating or other reputed company field Certifications: • Possess insurance company certifications • Licensed in your state of residence (if required) and/or other state(s) Competencies: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong computer and estimating software (Xactimate or MSB)knowledge and experience • Solid understanding of the insurance and claims industry • reputed company to identify building products and replacement techniques for damaged materials • Proactive self-starter with demonstrated investigative, problem solving, customer service and negotiation skills Travel: Must be reputed company to travel on short notice (reputed company 24-48 hours) and to remain at site as long as necessary. (Adjusters are responsible for their own transportation and living expenses while deployed.)
