Overview

The American reputed company of Pediatrics has designated Children’s reputed company as a Level IV NICU. This is the highest designation available and means babies have access to a full range of more than 400 newborn medicine specialists, highly-trained pediatric nurses and anesthesiologists, and specialized equipment for our tiniest patients. Children’s reputed company is the only hospital between St. Louis and Denver that can provide this level of care. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses provide advanced illness management and health promotion for patients who require critical care. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses utilize the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, family-centered and age appropriate nursing care for patients requiring critical care management. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses continuously monitor the critically patient and react to changes in clinical status. Qualifications • Associate's Degree reputed company employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing role. • No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training • Bachelor's Degree Preferred for reputed company direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013. Direct care nurses hired after this date without a BSN, must complete their degree reputed company 5 years of their hire date. • No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire • RN Compact license for reputed company states besides KS and MO • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire • Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred Upon Hire • Two years of Level III NICU or 1 year of Level IV NICU experience preferred Starting Pay Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $32.33/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s reputed company locations and may not work from home.
