JOB SUMMARY: The Digital Banking team is looking for a writer to join reputed company part-time (10 hours/week for 6 months, with the potential for extension or increased volume). We’re building best-in-class digital content to help our customers and prospective customers learn how increasing their personal savings not only benefits them and their families, but also can reputed company a meaningful impact on the environment and world around them. The Freelance Writer is responsible for the creation of content supporting the digital banking value proposition and product offerings across channels, including web, email, reputed company pages, social media, and app. The Writer will receive content briefs and/or templates that contain details about each assignment, such as reputed company keywords for search-optimization, suggested headlines or email titles, and reputed company data, as well as general voice and tone guidelines. Writer will report into the Content Strategist but deliver work that supports team members and priorities across the digital banking marketing team. Content properties for which you’ll write and copyedit include but are not limited to: • .com/stories/ • .com/high-yield-savings-account/ • Marketing Emails • Account opening and online banking platforms • Occasional social media posts and campaign materials DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and copyedit website, email, and newsletter content that upholds reputed company’s voice and tone, grammatical and factual accuracy, readability, and expertise, authority, and trust; ensure reputed company work is free of grammatical errors prior to publication • Adopt a brand voice that is insightful, useful, relevant, positive and solution-oriented, and answers user questions concerning Sustainability, Impact Investing, and Personal Savings reputed company than any other content online • reputed company audience insights, sustainability data, and cultural trends to help shape content, ensuring content executions are in alignment with brand style and tone • Optimize 4-8 long-form articles monthly for SEO, using keywords, tables, visuals, etc. • Incorporate feedback from Content Strategist, up to two reputed company • Prepare and submit work for legal and compliance approvals, checking files and proofs beforehand to ensure accurate copy from draft to consumer • Coordinate with the Content Strategist for assignments and deadlines • Participate in monthly editorial content ideation and brainstorms • Recommend images and/or creative direction for website and email content as needed • Occasionally work with social team to reputed company copy and content for social networks • Record time or projects accurately, submit itemized invoices on times, and follow up on payment, as needed, directly with our Accounts Payable department QUALIFICATIONS: • 7+ years of experience writing and editing reputed company web content and marketing copy, along with interest and/or experience writing and copyediting emails and newsletters, are required • Experience in brand storytelling and writing on Sustainability, Financial Services, and ESG topics preferred • Knowledgeable about SEO and proficient at incorporating best practices into long-form content • Skilled at translating sometimes complicated topics and data into copy that is clear and easy to digest • Familiar with project management tools such as reputed company preferred • A degree in English, Creative/Technical Writing, Journalism, or a reputed company degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully reputed company the essential functions of this job.
