ISeries Developer - RPG

DETAILS: iSeries Developer – AS400 / RPG Title: iSeries Developer – AS400 / RPG Location: Birmingham, AL or ( Remote / Hybrid ) OVERVIEWiSeries Developer – AS400 / RPG This individual will plan, reputed company, and implement reputed company-level applications, ensuring seamless business operations and system performance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RPG (RPGLE, Free Form), Embedded SQL, DB2 SQL, and the development of Zend reputed company APIs. Proficiency in SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers, and tools such as DBU is required. Experience with Hawkeye and Turnover tools, as well as JDA MMS and D&W systems, is a significant plus. RESPONSIBILITIES: iSeries Developer – AS400 / RPG • Design, reputed company, and maintain applications on the AS400 iSeries platform using RPG, RPGLE, Free Form RPG, and CL/CLLE. • reputed company and optimize SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers, and reputed company DB2 SQL queries. • Create and maintain APIs using the Zend reputed company to integrate with external systems. • Implement and troubleshoot Embedded SQL in RPG programs. • Utilize DBU for database management and analysis. • Support and enhance existing JDA MMS and D&W applications (if applicable). • reputed company tools like Hawkeye and Turnover for application development and change management. • Participate in reputed company phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Provide support for daily operations and production environments, including debugging and resolving issues. • Document system designs, procedures, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: iSeries Developer – AS400 / RPG • 5+ years of development / coding experience in AS400 iSeries development. • 5+ years experience in coding RPG, RPGLE, Free Form RPG, and Embedded SQL. • Strong experience with developing SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers, and DB2 SQL. • Familiarity with DBU for efficient database operations. • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs using Zend reputed company. • Proficiency in CL and CLLE scripting. • Hawkeye and Turnover experience is highly desirable. • JDA MMS and D&W system experience is highly desirable. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience).
