Mortgage Underwriter Location: Prefer Position to be in office in Meridian ID, but reputed company qualified candidates will be considered DE Required. SAR Preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Underwrite mortgage loans that adhere to various agency reputed company policy and procedures. Additionally, responsible to answer questions and assist with problem solving with loan officers and processors, respond to both internal and external QC audit findings in a timely and proficient manner. Responsible for providing efficient, timely, consistent, accurate quality loan decisions on a daily basis. Duties/Responsibilities: • Adhere to various agency reputed company policy and procedures • Answer questions and assist with problem solving with loan officers and processors • Respond to both internal and external QC audit findings in a timely and proficient manner • Responsible for providing efficient, timely, consistent, accurate quality loan decisions on a daily basis Required Skills/Abilities: • Three years’ reputed company experience • FHA/Conventional Mandatory • VA/USDA highly preferred • Multi state highly preferred • Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written • Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines on a consistent basis • Strong mathematical aptitude • Ability to calculate income reputed company W-2/Tax Returns • Adept at analyzing issues and determining best approach for solution • General experience and understanding of the following products: • Byte Loan Origination Software • reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook • Internet Navigation • Strong Interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to work with a diverse client reputed company (Loan Originators, processors etc)Detail Oriented • Adept at working in a high volume, fast paced environment Compensation: Compensation to commensurate with experience Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Apply Job!
