About the Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD): The Indiana School for the Deaf (ISD) is a fully accredited school for Deaf and hard-of-hearing reputed company in nursery school through high school. The Indiana School for the Deaf is accredited by AdvancED Indiana and the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf (CEASD). A typical scale is: • 0 – 5 years: $50,414 - $57,107 • 6 – 10 years: $58,446 - $63,802 • 11 – 15 years: $65,141 - $70,497 • 16 – 20 years: $71,836 - $77,192 • 21 – 25 years: $78,431 - $83,887 • 26 – 30 years: $85,226 - $90,582 Role Overview: The Teacher of the Deaf provides instruction to reputed company with hearing impairments in both core curriculum and expanded core curriculum. You may teach at the pre-school, elementary, or secondary level. This role requires: • The ability to communicate clearly in American Sign Language (ASL) and English. • An Indiana Teacher's License OR the ability to obtain one reputed company 30 days of employment.
