Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Regional Support Pharmacy Technician is an in person, patient facing position that will support the region in with coverage during Staff PTO. This is a Per Diem position. The Pharmacy Technician obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Performs varied activities and moderately reputed company... administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This role is in person, in a pharmacy, embedded in a primary care clinic. The Pharmacy Technician will be required to be on their feet, handle multiple tasks as needed to fulfill a medication and answer patients' questions, in person and over the phone The Regional Support Pharmacy Technician, supervised by a Pharmacist, performs the following duties. • Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs • Assists Pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs • Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer • Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to Pharmacist • May operate a cash register • Follow standard policies and practices • Use your skills to reputed company an impact Schedule: Per Diem as needed, can work typical operation hours 8:00am-5pm EST (can work up to 40 hours per week depending on business need) Required Training Schedule: 2 weeks of training M-F 8:30am-5pm EST. Required Qualifications • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience • Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in in the reputed company • Must have National Certification (PTCB), or the ability to obtain reputed company the first 6 months of hire • This role is considered patient facing and is part of reputed company/Senior reputed company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Scheduled Weekly Hours 24 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting reputed company pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
