Virtual Special Education Teacher for Students with Learning Disabilities

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute effective online teaching strategies that cater to students with learning disabilities. • Create, update, and manage digital IEPs and personalized learning plans to meet each student’s unique needs. • Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas, ensuring content is accessible and engaging. • Administer and interpret virtual assessments to monitor progress and adapt instruction as needed. • Work collaboratively with general education teachers to implement necessary accommodations and modifications. • Maintain regular and open communication with students and their families to support their educational journey. • Actively participate in professional learning communities and virtual staff meetings to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to team goals. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred). • Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities. • At least 2 years of experience in special education. • Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction effectively in an online environment. • Patience and a strong commitment to fostering student success.
