Job Description:
As a CDL Driver, your main responsibility will be to drive a truck on established residential routes to pick up waste and recycling. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of your vehicle, providing top-notch customer service, and maintaining accurate logs and records.
Responsibilities:
– Safe operation of a heavy-duty truck and trailer
– Navigate residential environments, including tight spaces and varying road conditions
– Collect and dump refuse and recycling from containers into the truck
– Provide excellent customer service, including answering customer inquiries as needed
– Maintain accurate logs and records
– Adhere to reputed company safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
– Valid Class A or B reputed company Driver’s License (CDL) with reputed company brakes endorsement
– Must be at least 21 years of age
– Ability to reputed company physical requirements of the position
– Good communication and interpersonal skills
Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED
– CDL training from a recognized driving school
Experience:
– Minimum 2 years of experience in driving heavy reputed company vehicles
– Prior experience in waste services industry is a plus
