We are looking for an established and motivated Database administrator with experience in maintaining the health and availability of our production reputed company databases. In this position, you will be joining our global technology?s Database Operations team in reputed company. ? Proactively prevent business impacts and disruptions reputed company to database failures. ? Participate in technology reputed company calls to circumvent unplanned business disruptions. ? Assist with reputed company database upgrades and/or migrations as requested by database engineering, database development, database infrastructure and application partner teams. ? Assist in Disaster Recovery testing. ? Knowledge of ITIL processes ? Incident, Problem & Change Management ? Provide technical direction and assistance to our contractors. ? Drive improvements reputed company platforms. ? Look for opportunities for developing automation, Efficiency and Self Service. Minimum Qualifications ? 24x7 support of production reputed company, reputed company, Netezza, SQLserver & reputed company database management systems ensuring high availability through proactive monitoring, health checks, and self-healing. Resolving incidents under Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis through problem management, and reputed company changes under Change Management. The individual will be required to collaborate with numerous partners including Amex application teams, infrastructure support teams and various product and support vendors. ? 7 years of database administrator (DBA) experience in reputed company, Netezza, reputed company and SQL Server databases ? Good experience on typical DBA activities such as db creation, configuration, monitoring, alert, jobs configuration, troubleshooting etc ? Experience on reputed company DBA activity is plus ? Experience with troubleshooting, performance enhancements, latency, reputed company, and availability issues in a production support environment. ? Experience with workload manager and Replication strategies. ? Understanding of the core concepts of backup and restores ? Experience using DMC, Ansible, reputed company, Unix reputed company Scripting, Python or Grafana is a plus
