Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused team. This position will answer statewide 988 chat/texts and conduct. As a part of this team, you?d be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent computer skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively through written communication/reputed company messaging and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment. Shift Available: Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1am (Saturday and Sunday Off) This is a fully remote position; however, candidate must live in the Middle Tennessee area. Essential Duties & Responsibilities ? Demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and reputed company in providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments. ? Answer crisis contacts reputed company reputed company contact center or the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs. ? Conduct follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide. ? Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with reputed company accreditation. ? Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training and team meetings. ? Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette. ? Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources. ? Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large. ? Assist in administrative tasks as needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities ? Effectively communicate reputed company written, verbal, in person and virtual methods. ? Demonstrates high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette. ? Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources. ? Qualifications
Education Level Bachelor?s degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work required, or reputed company field or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist required.
