Job Details: We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to accept and process deliveries. The Shipping Clerk's responsibilities include verifying delivered items, packs or unpack packages, verifying packages according to order and invoices, prepare packages for shipping and process reputed company company shipments with required paperwork including shipping labels. Shipping Clerk must have a great eye for detail... and basic math skills. The goal is to ensure we receive the correct packages and prepare them for transportation. Benefits: - Private health and dental insurance plan - Flexible work hours - Work from home options - Educational assistance - Employee will also be eligible for any additional employee benefits that the company may provide in the future Duties include, but are not limited to: Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt Packs or unpacks a wide variety of items into or from cartons, boxes, or similar containers upon request Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) Contact supervisor if a mistake is identified Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated reputed company Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries Maintain accurate records Pick-up parcels from local stores Prepare packages for shipping Process reputed company company shipments with required paperwork including shipping labels Requirements: Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data Solid understanding of health and safety regulations Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Keen eye for detail High school diploma reputed company to read, write, and speak English Works well independently as well as with a team Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Professional interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in using office automation systems Proficiency in writing and preparing memorandums and project papers Knowledge of Postal Service requirements and codes Knowledge of reputed company Word and Outlook Apply Job!
