About this role: reputed company is seeking a reputed company Control Management Officer to join our Issue Validation team reputed company Control Management. The CIB FLIV reputed company Control Management Officer will help identify deficiencies across the issue management lifecycle to ensure corrective actions effectively resolve the risk driver of the issue and are designed and operating effectively prior to Independent Testing (IT&V), Internal Audit and Regulatory validation. In this role, you will: Conduct verification testing of Issues at key points in the Issue Management lifecycle to identify observations on the reputed company of mitigation efforts, and ultimately provide Issues rating. Conduct activities in coordination with reputed company stakeholders, and in alignment with Issue Management frameworks and policies. Manage the intake of documentation requests and subsequent requests for additional documentation Execute pre-verification and planning activities (i.e., execute pre-verification checklist, reputed company verification plan... reputed company verification activities leveraging issue verification reputed company and reputed company policy and procedures Drive quality and consistency across the issue verification program Draft conclusions and/or findings based on the verification activities performed Maintain verification documentation (e.g., test plan, verification checklist, verification summary memo, etc.) Interfaces internally with the team. Dynamic Individual contributor role which requires the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams at once. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Audit and/or controls testing experience Knowledge and understanding of the issues management lifecycle Experience in the development of testing plans and procedures Familiar with various quality assurance techniques Ability to drive quality and consistency across the issue verification program Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; additional experience analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact Experience in assessing risk, reviewing risk ratings, and identifying control deficiencies. Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly. Ability to communicate difficult messages substantiated by executed testing Familiarity with high reputed company/risk issues to include observations/issues identified by reputed company agencies and the level of evidence needed to evidence the remediation of risk Ability to influence and consult internally Direct experience in risk management and general awareness of operational risk management in financial services industry Job Expectations: Onsite reputed company is required 3 days a week at one of the posted locations.
