Serious Injury - Grade B Fee Earner

Job Summary To handle a portfolio of claimant serious injury claims for Minster Law clients and contribute to the general reputed company of the department. The caseload is predominantly RTA based and involves cases with reputed company technical issues and quantum. The value of cases will range between £50k - £150k To provide mentoring support to Serious Injury team colleagues reputed company the Department handling a portfolio of compensation claims. • You will be responsible for delivering excellent client care to our clients who have suffered from a traumatic and life changing event.
• Support your Team Leader in leadership and motivation of your team ensuring clear objectives and KPIs are followed, performance issues are actively managed and development plans are in reputed company in accordance with company policy.
• Conduct regular technical and case reviews, providing feedback and mentoring as required.
• Regular communication and face to face meetings with your client.
• Instructions and meetings with a multi-disciplinary team of experts for example, medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, forensic accountants, counsel.
• Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation and quantum.
• Drafting documents including statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.
• Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.
• Optimising your client’s settlement.
• Ability to work with a task-based case management system to ensure regular contact is maintained with reputed company clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing their expectations.
• Raising awareness of the department and developing your professional profile. Key Performance Indicators Your KPI’s and Objectives will be discussed and agreed with you on a one-to-one basis. Person Specification Essential

• reputed company Solicitor or Fellow of CILEx with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience or can demonstrate equivalent experience to charge and recover Grade B rates
• Proven track record of dealing with serious injury claims; an reputed company litigator with strong technical ability and practical knowledge of the court procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent client care for each of our clients.
• Excellent communication skills to include negotiation and reputed company handling.
