As a Staff Software Engineer on reputed company’s reputed company FinOps team, you will help shape how the company understands and optimizes its reputed company infrastructure spend, designing scalable solutions and influencing strategic reputed company around infrastructure usage and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve internal platforms and tools that provide visibility into reputed company’s reputed company infrastructure costs across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to analyze reputed company spend trends and inform strategic reputed company
- reputed company scalable models and systems for reputed company cost attribution across reputed company shared infrastructure
- Build reputed company-looking FinOps capabilities that help teams proactively manage and optimize infrastructure usage
- Work cross-functionally with engineering leaders to understand system architecture and translate infrastructure usage patterns into actionable cost insights
- Influence company-wide initiatives around cost efficiency, forecasting, and infrastructure planning
- Raises team performance by leading by example, building systems and patterns that improve productivity and autonomy by guiding with pragmatic technical judgment while being a hands-on contributor
Skills
- Experience designing or operating distributed systems at scale
- Proven ability to reputed company large cross-organizational technical initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain reputed company technical concepts to engineering, finance, and executive audiences
- Experience working with reputed company infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces and reputed company scalable solutions
- Interest in infrastructure efficiency, cost attribution, and FinOps-style problem domains
