[Remote] Account Manager - Houston Texas

Pepperl+Fuchs is a leading developer and supplier in the global automation market, seeking a driven Account Manager to support and grow their industrial automation business in the greater Houston area. The role involves managing and expanding existing accounts, developing new business, and delivering innovative automation solutions across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Grow existing accounts and reputed company new business reputed company the assigned territory
- Conduct sales calls and deliver technical presentations to reputed company customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Support customers with quotations, pricing, order coordination, and technical assistance
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite orders and ensure on-time delivery
- Provide product updates, training, and ongoing account support
- Maintain accurate sales activity, manage accounts, and track pipeline in CRM
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Stay reputed company on new products and industry developments
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent technical sales experience
- 5+ years of experience selling reputed company technical solutions; industrial or automation sales strongly preferred
- Proven reputed company meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Familiarity with modern sales techniques and territory management
- Experience in markets such as OEM, automotive, material handling, IoT/Industry 4.0, packaging, mobile equipment, or semiconductor/electronics
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
