Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Revenue & Planning Technology team, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store data from a variety of sources, including operational feeds, reservation systems, and third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate closely with source data application teams and product owners to understand business needs, define data models, and ensure data quality and governance.
• Implement data movement and processing solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Event Hubs, and Azure Databricks.
• Develop and optimize both batch and streaming pipelines, applying best practices for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Lead the full lifecycle of data solutions – from architecture and security design to ingestion, validation, testing, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Drive automation of data workflows through CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform) and implement robust alerting and incident response mechanisms.
