Tax Manager | Director Track | 100% Remote
We are seeking a client-facing professional with a desire to help shape and partner with existing management to grow an innovative firm. Broad responsibilities:
- Handle a range of tax filings across corporate, individual, and partnership entities at federal and state levels for small and medium-sized businesses (Giving you the opportunity to speak directly with their decision makers!)
- Stay current with industry updates and actively pursue professional development opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research on tax legislation, solving complex problems and advising clients on strategic tax planning.
- Oversee a small team of Tax accountants; serving as both a mentor and day-to-day advisor on tax pronouncements / research areas
- Collaborate closely with clients to gather information and ensure timely submissions, while maintaining clear communication within the team.
Qualifications:
- Applicable public Accounting/Tax experience with SMB Tax experience
- CPA completed or In-progress
- Ability to be successful in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Interest in current technology and market strategies
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and being collaborative with your team.
