[Remote] Junior Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote)

They are seeking a highly motivated Junior Associate Attorney to manage a docket of cases and provide legal support, working closely with a team of paralegals and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing a docket of cases to resolution
• Depositions:
• Preparing client for deposition
• Attending depositions
• Invoicing Depositions
• Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
• Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
• Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
• Team Player:
• Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
• Participation in team events during work and after work hours
• Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients

Skills

• Candidates MUST be CA State Barred and preferably reside in the state of California
• Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff
• Managing a docket of cases to resolution
• Preparing client for deposition
• Attending depositions
• Invoicing Depositions
• Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negotiations and moving matters towards resolution
• Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
• Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
• Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
• Participation in team events during work and after work hours
• Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
• Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
• Doctors' deposition experience
