Position Summary

arenaflex is currently hiring a Transportation Analyst to join our Industrial Engineering team within the Transportation department. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with prior experience in transportation logistics, particularly on the maintenance and asset preservation side of fleet operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting our extensive transportation fleet, integrating multiple data sources, building analytical tools, and collaborating with management to identify and prioritize critical business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet Support: Provide comprehensive analytical and administrative support to the arenaflex Transportation Fleet, helping to ensure operational continuity, asset longevity, and data accuracy across the department.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult, communicate, and partner with managers and department leaders to define, document, and prioritize enterprise business needs, ensuring that analytical outputs align with organizational goals.
• Data Integration: Integrate numerous and varied data assets from across multiple database platforms, synthesizing disparate information sources into cohesive, actionable reports and dashboards.
• Spreadsheet Development: Build, create, and maintain a wide range of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, including complex workbooks with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports that provide insight into transportation performance, fleet utilization, maintenance trends, and operational efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the overall quality and timeliness of information delivered to stakeholders.
• Database Management: Work with Microsoft Access and other database platforms to query, manipulate, and maintain data integrity across transportation systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, process documentation, and standard operating procedures for all analytical functions performed within the role.

Essential Qualifications

• Microsoft Excel Proficiency (Required): Demonstrated, hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Candidates must be comfortable building complex spreadsheets, using advanced formulas, creating pivot tables, and generating meaningful visualizations from raw data.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug Test: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult effectively with managers and team members across multiple departments.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, numbers, and operational records.

Preferred Qualifications
