Position Overview
The Remote Data Integration & Opinion Sharing Specialist will serve as a critical bridge between internal business partners and our data engineering teams. You will gather, translate, and implement data ingestion requirements across multiple domains—including Membership, Deals, Finance, Product, and more—ensuring that the data pipelines we build are robust, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. This role offers a unique blend of stakeholder engagement, technical design, and hands‑on implementation using arenaflex’s cloud platform and a suite of modern data tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders across verticals (Membership, Deals, Finance, Product, etc.) to elicit, document, and prioritize data ingestion requirements.
- Data Ingestion Design & Development: Architect and implement new data ingestion solutions using a combination of arenaflex cloud services (arenaflex Redshift, arenaflex S3, arenaflex Glue, arenaflex EMR, arenaflex Kinesis, arenaflex Firehose, arenaflex Lambda, and arenaflex IAM).
- Pipeline Maintenance & Optimization: Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing ETL pipelines to meet changing compliance standards, performance targets, and business rules.
- Tooling & System Development: Build and improve internal tools that enable both technical and non‑technical teams to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot data flows.
- Code Review & Best‑Practice Enforcement: Conduct thorough code reviews, champion data quality standards, and mentor peers on ETL best practices.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging data technologies, propose modern solutions, and pilot new patterns that can be adopted across the organization.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Produce clear, concise documentation for data models, pipeline architectures, and operational runbooks to ensure knowledge transfer and long‑term maintainability.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
