Entry Level CAD Technician - Water/Wastewater

They are seeking an Entry Level CADD Technician to join their design team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the role involves creating design solutions for municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.

Responsibilities

  • Creating solutions on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Develop sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents to support projects
  • Provide accurate design models and drawings for various facility design projects

Skills

  • An associate degree from an accredited technical institution or college in mechanical and computer drafting, or similar program
  • 0-2 years of experience with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) platforms common in the infrastructure design and construction industry, such as AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, and/or Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer
  • Experience with water and wastewater systems design drawings
  • Familiarity with CAD standards
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented work approach, and a focus on delivering work products that are clear, accurate, and of high quality
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment and individually
  • Deadline-oriented mindset
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation and controls drafting
  • Hands-on mechanical skills through educational, professional, and/or personal experience, that can be leveraged into the design and construction for municipal projects
