ABOUT THE ROLE Location: South India KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support business development activities to identify and evaluate new management and franchising opportunities under the guidance of the Business Development Director. Assist in preparing proposals and presentations, and support the negotiation and finalisation of management and franchising agreements. Conduct market research and data analysis to identify potential clients and new business opportunities in the Indian hospitality market. Assist in conducting basic financial feasibility studies and investment analysis to support strategic decision-making. Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, investors, consultants, designers, architects, engineers, and governmental entities. Collaborate internally to develop tailored pitches, presentations, and project-specific business cases. Assist in the execution of partnerships, alliances, and growth strategies across assigned markets. Track and report on market trends, competitor activity, and expansion opportunities to support business development strategy. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to support lead generation and relationship building on behalf of the company. Promote and enhance the visibility of Kerten Hospitality brands across current and new markets. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or lifestyle sectors. Strong understanding of the Indian hospitality market, with awareness of regional market dynamics, development trends, and key growth corridors across tier-1 and tier-2 cities. Basic awareness of management and franchising agreements, including proposals, commercial terms, and contract coordination. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build and nurture relationships with owners, developers, and industry stakeholders. Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to support market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity identification.
