The Remote Data Entry Specialist position is a critical component of arenaflex’s patient‑centric operations. In this role, you will be the first line of contact for patients, prescribers, and internal pharmacy teams, ensuring that medication information, enrollment details, and prescription orders are captured accurately, securely, and in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary data‑entry platforms to input patient enrollment, prescription, and medication information with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process inbound and outbound communications—including phone calls, emails, and secure messages—related to prescription orders, refill requests, and medication inquiries.
  • Interpret and enter clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) and resolve missing or incomplete medication data by researching and confirming details with prescribers or patients.
  • Manage “outside oddball” cases by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting data according to specific workflow requirements and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and other clinical staff to troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and arenaflex privacy policies while handling sensitive health information.
  • Provide timely, courteous, and professional support to patients and prescribers, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Achieve and maintain required certifications or professional licenses within the first 90 days of employment, and keep them current throughout your tenure.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to start and shut down a PC, use a mouse, navigate between applications, save and print documents, and access online resources.
  • Fundamental web navigation skills, including entering URLs, using bookmarks, and completing web‑based forms.
  • Keyboarding speed of at least 25 WPM with a focus on accuracy and the ability to type from memory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • One year of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably with exposure to call‑center or customer‑service functions.
  • Experience with pharmacy enrollment processes, such as state‑run medication assistance programs or other public health initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, meeting service‑level agreements and quality metrics.
  • Advanced keyboarding speed of 35 WPM or higher, with a focus on error‑free data entry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling you to assist a diverse patient population.
