Role Overview

Position Summary

arenaflex is seeking a visionary Lead Big Data Engineer to join our Remote Data Science & Engineering team. This full‑time, remote‑first position offers a competitive rate of $28 per hour and provides the opportunity to design, build, and scale cutting‑edge data platforms that power critical business functions such as merchandising, supply chain optimization, fraud detection, and personalized marketing. Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve the end‑to‑end data architecture, ensuring alignment with arenaflex’s strategic objectives and industry best practices.
• Platform Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable big‑data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Flink, NoSQL stores, and emerging cloud‑native technologies.

Essential Qualifications
