  • Architecting the Data Warehouse: Design, develop, maintain, and support the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform at arenaflex, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of business stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Building Ad Hoc Reports and Dashboards: Construct tailored reports and visualizations using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to support inquisitive data users, automate routine reporting tasks, and surface meaningful insights to leadership.
  • Enabling Self-Service Analytics: Empower business users to answer not only "what," "when," and "how" questions but also explore "what-if" scenarios by developing intuitive data models and accessible analytical tools.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Foster strong working relationships with key business sponsors, IT resources, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize work, and ensure the efficient resolution of data-related requests.
  • Communicating Technical and Business Concepts: Present technical and business topics in a 360-degree format, adapting your communication style for technical teams, executive leadership, and non-technical stakeholders through written reports, verbal presentations, and visual materials.
  • Upholding Best Practices: Develop, support, and recommend improvements to applications in the areas of standards, policies, compliance, and quality assurance practices. Participate actively in design reviews and code walkthroughs.
  • Owning the Release Process: Take ownership of the release management process, ensuring smooth deployments, proper version control, and minimal disruption to production environments.
  • Staying Current with Technology: Remain up to date with relevant emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
  • Prioritizing for Impact: Strategically prioritize work based on the highest potential impact to the business, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term architectural goals.
