Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties as a Client Services Specialist will encompass a variety of customer support activities designed to address the needs of our Medicaid members and healthcare providers. We expect all team members to handle their responsibilities with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset. The following are the primary duties you will perform in this role: - Respond to incoming telephone calls from Medicaid members and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries related to benefits coverage, eligibility status, service authorizations, and prior authorization requirements - Assist callers with understanding their plan benefits, including coverage details, copayment information, and additional programs available to them - Process requests for member ID cards, provider changes, and benefit verification according to established protocols and quality standards - Document all customer interactions accurately in our computer system, ensuring that detailed notes are maintained for future reference and follow-up - Troubleshoot basic customer issues and escalate complex inquiries to appropriate specialists when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution - Meet or exceed performance targets related to call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, attendance requirements, and quality metrics - Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge - Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to patient information and confidentiality - Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to improve processes and deliver an exceptional customer experience

Technical Requirements

To succeed in this remote position, you must meet specific technical specifications to ensure reliable and secure connectivity during your work hours. arenaflex mandates the following technical requirements for all remote team members: - High-speed internet connectivity with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps - Direct ethernet cable connection to your computer (Wi-Fi is not permitted due to security and reliability standards) - A dedicated, quiet workspace where you can take calls without background noise or interruptions - Ability to commute to our Charleston, West Virginia office when technical issues prevent working from home for extended periods - Current computer with Windows 10 or later operating system, at least 8GB RAM, and a noise-canceling headset (all equipment provided by arenaflex)

Work Schedule and Training

The position follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule with core hours between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. During your initial training period of six weeks, your hours will be 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, to ensure you receive comprehensive onboarding and develop confidence in your role. Once training is complete, you will transition to the regular production schedule. This role requires full-time commitment, and candidates must be available to work during all scheduled hours without deviation.

Required Qualifications

arenaflex seeks candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this position: - Must reside within 50 miles of Charleston, West Virginia to qualify for this position - High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally - Strong active listening skills and the capacity to demonstrate empathy while working with callers - Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously - Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment - Commitment to meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with privacy regulations

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and may be considered during the selection process: - Previous experience in a remote call center or customer service environment - Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs, terminology, and benefits - Experience in the healthcare insurance industry or related customer service roles - Post-secondary education in healthcare administration, communications, or a related field - Bilingual language skills (Spanish) is a plus but not required

Compensation and Benefits
