Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry and Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties that combine technical maintenance knowledge with administrative precision. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Equipment Inspection and Servicing: Conducting thorough inspections, performing routine servicing, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs on a wide variety of automated ground support equipment owned and operated by arenaflex.
  • Component Repair and Replacement: Reviewing, servicing, investigating, fixing, replacing, and upgrading all components including truck cabs, body panels, and drive-train parts on an assorted collection of equipment.
  • Electrical and Hydraulic Systems: Taking responsibility for electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, as well as painting, bodywork, and other specialized technical work as required.
  • Data Entry and Documentation: Completing accurate data entry to record all work tasks performed, maintenance activities completed, and parts used. You will communicate with other organization personnel as needed to ensure seamless information flow.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Practicing safety-conscious and environmentally responsible behaviors in every operational process and procedure, adhering to all arenaflex safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with team members, coordinating repairs with other technicians, and communicating with external vendors when necessary to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Technical Reference Application: Reading, understanding, and applying information found in technical documents, manuals, and schematics to perform required maintenance and repair activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all work meets arenaflex quality standards and that all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Safety Commitment: Consistently prioritize the safety and security of self, others, and personal data in all work activities.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, as all documentation and communication will be conducted in English.
  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule including fixed or rotating shifts, both indoors and outdoors, including willingness to travel, work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience: At least three years of demonstrated ability in a related field, with a strong foundation in mechanical, technical, or maintenance work.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to and including 50 pounds, and occasionally lift items between 50 and 70 pounds.
  • Testing: Must achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests designed to determine the ability to perform required tasks.
  • Technical Reading Skills: Must be able to read, understand, and apply information found in technical documents and manuals.

  • Must be in good standing in current position with no formal performance documentation such as a Written Training Letter, Corrective Action, or Final Action Notice within the past six months.
  • Must not have transferred within the past six months from current office in current station. This requirement may be waived for promotional opportunities.
  • Must be in current position for at least three years if transferring from outside the relevant division.
  • Must currently be in active status; however, those on inactive status may become eligible upon return to active status prior to the transfer date.
