Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Content Leadership: Define, develop, and maintain the editorial standards for all external communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across websites, email campaigns, press releases, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with product owners, public policy teams, PR, and senior executives to translate complex technical and policy initiatives into compelling, audience‑focused narratives.
  • Content Planning & Execution: Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with arenaflex’s trust‑building objectives, seasonal campaigns, and regulatory milestones.
  • Executive Speechwriting: Craft persuasive speeches, presentation decks, talking points, and scripts for senior leaders, ensuring each piece resonates with diverse external audiences.
  • Editorial Review & Quality Assurance: Lead internal review cycles with CTXR program managers and marketing teams, providing meticulous copyediting, style guidance, and adherence to AP and arenaflex brand guidelines.
  • Thought‑Leader Engagement: Identify, network, and collaborate with internal and external experts—including industry analysts, policymakers, and media contacts—to enrich content with authoritative insights.
  • Process Optimization: Design scalable workflows that reduce time‑to‑publish while maintaining high editorial standards, leveraging CMS platforms, markup languages, and agile methodologies.
  • Performance Measurement: Track content performance metrics (engagement, reach, sentiment) and iterate on strategy to continuously improve the effectiveness of communication efforts.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, corporate communications, public relations, or external affairs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and editing in AP style, with a strong portfolio showcasing web, blog, and press‑release content.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and markup languages such as HTML or XML.
  • Ability to craft audience‑specific messaging that aligns with brand voice and tone guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience working within a global, remote‑first team, collaborating across time zones and cultures.
