Account Executive, Preqin, Associate
BlackRock is committed to helping people experience financial well-being. As a Middle-Market Account Executive at Preqin, you will own the full sales cycle, driving new subscription agreements across a defined East Coast territory while building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle: targeted outreach, discovery, product positioning, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities—net‑new prospects and whitespace within existing accounts
- Deliver clear, value‑focused demonstrations of Preqin’s private capital solutions and data offerings tailored to middle‑market clients
- Execute territory plans through localized events, coordinated go‑to‑market activity, and lead‑generation efforts
- Produce accurate proposals, maintain clean CRM documentation, and communicate deal progress with precision
Skills
- 1–3 years of quota‑carrying sales experience with closing responsibility (SaaS, financial services, or market data preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to run a structured sales process and meet or exceed targets
- Strong understanding of financial markets, private capital workflows, and industry trends
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging clients and internal stakeholders
- Data‑driven, detail‑oriented approach to evaluating opportunities, managing pipeline, and preparing materials
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
