Business Development & Sales Enablement Associate
National Loan Exchange, Inc. (NLEX) is a specialized loan sale advisory firm serving various financial entities. They are seeking a Business Development & Sales Enablement Associate to support the sales team by increasing prospecting activity, improving follow-up, and preparing for client conversations.
Responsibilities
- Research prospective sellers, buyers, lenders, financial institutions, fintech companies, and other market participants using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, CRM data, conference lists, public sources, and internal resources
- Assist with cold-call and email outreach campaigns, including list building, message preparation, follow-up tracking, and cadence management
- Schedule introductory meetings, conference follow-ups, market update calls, and prospect calls for senior sales team members
- Prepare prospect summaries, call notes, follow-up materials, and client-specific background information
- Maintain account plans, cadence plans, and follow-up reminders for priority prospects and existing clients
- Track sales timing items, including flow expirations, renewal opportunities, conference follow-ups, and re-engagement opportunities
- Review and organize sales materials, seller surveys, data review materials, offering documents, and pitch materials
- Improve CRM hygiene, pipeline tracking, activity documentation, and follow-up discipline
- Coordinate with sales, operations, compliance, and marketing to keep materials and communications accurate, professional, and timely
- Contribute to sales tools such as call scripts, outreach templates, discovery questions, objection responses, prospect lists, and follow-up templates
Skills
- Strong communication skills, including professional writing and phone/email etiquette
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow-ups, and deadlines
- Comfortable conducting online research and synthesizing it into useful summaries
- Interest in sales, business development, financial services, fintech, banking, consumer lending, receivables, or debt buying
- Attention to detail when reviewing documents, data, and client-facing materials
- Comfort using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, LinkedIn, and similar tools
- Professional judgment and the ability to operate in a compliance-sensitive environment
- Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn a specialized industry
- 1–3 years in sales support, business development, sales development, inside sales, customer success, financial services, operations, marketing, or a related role
- Experience with prospecting, cold outreach, meeting setting, CRM updates, or sales coordination
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- Experience in banking, lending, collections, receivables management, fintech, or debt buying is a plus but not required
- Prior experience reviewing business documents, sales materials, survey responses, or data files is helpful
