The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Departmental Analyst (Trainee) to support bureau-wide operations within the Treasury's Tax Administration Services Bureau. Skills

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
  • No specific type or amount of experience required for Departmental Analyst 9
  • One year of professional experience required for Departmental Analyst 10
  • Two years of professional experience required for Departmental Analyst P11, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
  • Three years of professional experience required for Departmental Analyst 12, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service
  • Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification for Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9
  • Official college transcripts must contain the college/university name and address, the degree conferred, and date granted, coursework completed, the Registrar's signature and/or seal, and must be recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
  • Applicants who possess a degree from a foreign college or university must have their academic credentials evaluated or converted into U.S. educational equivalents unless the degree has been recognized by CHEA
  • Work must be performed in the state of Michigan
  • Selected candidate must have a safe and appropriate designated workspace or workstation for performance of work and secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
  • This position has a FTINPRINT sub-class code and requires passing of a fingerprint-based background check per IRS Publication 1075
  • Interviews may occur virtually using Microsoft Teams
