Lancashire County Council is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their Payroll Services team, which manages payroll for over 39,000 employees. The role involves supporting the administration of accurate and timely payroll and pensions functions in compliance with various obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the efficient administration of a quality, accurate and timely payroll, and pensions function in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations
  • Be part of a supportive team including a team leader and two senior colleagues
  • Provide a professional payroll service, working to monthly deadlines, and achieving monthly performance targets
