Account Executive - Travel PR
FINN Partners is a rapidly growing public relations agency seeking an Account Executive to join their UK travel PR practice. The role involves supporting the team with media relations, content creation, and event organization, while fostering a passion for the travel industry.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and creating media lists
- Putting together activity reports
- Writing releases & engaging pitches
- Responding to media requests
- Clipping coverage
- Managing agendas and client call logistics
- Organising and hosting events
- Selling in stories
- Attending client meetings
- Hosting media and keeping on top of journalistic needs and deadlines
- Arranging press trips
- Joining brainstorms and developing ideas as a team
Skills
- Minimum of one year of experience in PR or within journalism
- Experience of media relations and pitching, writing, and social media comms
- Passion for the travel industry
- General awareness of the travel and hospitality sector
- Some work experience in public relations or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of agency/PR experience
- Enthusiasm and desire to be involved in award-winning PR campaigns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of influencer landscape and opportunities
- Understanding of the changing media landscape
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Good attention to detail, organisation and confidence
- Resourceful and innovative
