Business Analyst
Kekst CNC is part of Mars United Commerce, a global commerce marketing practice. They are seeking a Business Analyst to perform descriptive and prescriptive analytics, client reporting, and cross-functional integration, while providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Strategic Planning, and other functions in the business
- Contribute to the development of the Analytics capability for the business
- Work closely with cross-functional agency and client teams to define analytic needs and recommend methodologies, with the ability to execute independently
- Collaborate with internal partners to improve workflows and data quality within defined areas
- Implement a data visualization process to aid in the data quality checking process
- Synthesize data from a variety of sources, including Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, media vendors, customer-specific POS, shopper loyalty databases, consumer survey research, and category management tools, to identify and prioritize business-building opportunities
- Assist in the creation of, and own the creation of, client-ready reports with a focus on visual storytelling
- Conduct business process analysis and identify areas for improvement
- Develop business requirements and specifications for new systems and processes
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals
- Support wider agency initiatives

Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a directly related field
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience working with data; experience in consumer marketing, retail, and CPG industries is a plus
- Passion for data and analytics and the value of data-driven decision-making
- Ability to tell a visual story that leads to results and decision-making
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work proactively and efficiently with a very high level of quality
- Team player with strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
- Basic proficiency in SQL
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Knowledge of digital and/or marketing analytics
- Experience working with IRI or Nielsen data
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or any similar data visualization tools
- Experience in Python and R
