Junior Analyst - Power Bi Dashboard Developer
StepStone Group is a global private markets specialist delivering tailored investment solutions and data-driven insights. They are seeking a Junior Analyst – Dashboard Development to support the Data and Technology Solutions team by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and providing insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Perform dashboard quality assurance testing in accordance with established team guidelines
- Support version control processes and adhere to analytics development best practices
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Develop subject matter expertise in StepStone’s business model, private markets industry, and emerging data analytics trends
Skills
- Prior experience working with data models and business intelligence platforms
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to projects or coursework that added measurable value
- Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Analytical mindset with a strong commitment to data accuracy, particularly important given the QA responsibilities of this role
- Strong understanding of data modeling, dashboard design, and BI best practices
- Effective communicator, able to clearly document issues, flag discrepancies, and summarize findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to change
- Naturally inquisitive, eager to learn new technologies and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in STEM related field preferred but not required
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is a plus
