Dispatch Specialist

Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications company, is looking for a One Call Specialist I. Position Summary: The One Call Specialist I is responsible for screening One Call Center Locate Ticket requests to analyze the location of the dig site using a software application in relation to the company's underground fiber optics network. The specialist ensures the protection of company fiber and prevents costly restoration due to fiber cuts or damage by confirming that dig sites are clear. The role requires working in a 24x7 year-round environment, covering various shifts, holidays, and overtime as needed. What the right candidate will enjoy:

• One or a combination of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree and/or related job experience

• Screen and analyze One Call Center Locate Ticket requests
• Communicate with customers professionally and provide accurate responses
• Use Ticket Management Systems and GIS Applications to assess dig sites
• Ensure the protection of company assets by preventing fiber damage
